Rubber bands aren’t just there for show. They are essential to the success of your orthodontic treatment! If we prescribe them as part of your treatment plan, make sure you wear them at all times unless you are eating or brushing your teeth.

Why Wear Rubber Bands? Patients may forego wearing bands because they don’t understand their function. First, let’s take a look at the different parts of braces:
